Fredericks Foundation‘s mission is to provide access to small business loans to people excluded from mainstream credit in order to create choice not charity, and to give individuals the opportunity to transform their lives, and to build a society based on dignity not on handouts.
Fredericks is a Responsible Finance Provider that provides loans to people who want to set up a new business or maintain or expand an existing business. Fredericks is open to anyone who has a viable business proposition, but cannot obtain mainstream finance. Fredericks operates across England and Wales with a support team on hand to help and guide applicants all the way through the process. The support continues even after the applicant has been successful in the form of mentoring, practical business advice, networking and links within the local community that can help support and grow new and expanding businesses.

The Prince’s Trust believe that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities. So, at The Trust they help 11 to 30 year-olds from all over the UK to find the tools and confidence to try free courses and start careers. No matter if they have been facing some serious issues such as homelessness or if they’ve been in trouble with the law. If they’re willing to aim high – we are here.
Overall, The Prince’s Trust have returned £1.4 billion in value to society through helping young people over the last 10 years alone. They work with delivery partners across the UK to offer hundreds of free courses, grants and mentoring opportunities to inspire young people to build their confidence and start a career. They are there to support them to achieve their full potential.
The Trust’s UK 2018-2023 strategy lays out the direction of The Prince’s Trust and their plans to help one million more young people to transform their lives over the next 10 years by helping them to develop the confidence and skills to live, to learn and to earn, giving them an increasing stake in our economy and society.
